There are simple few steps to be followed for the registration of passport at passoport seva website. If you want to go for the online registration for passport in India, then here are the tips that can help you to reach at your destination.

Step-1- Go to the official website (Click on “Register now” link on the Home Page.

Step-2- login with registered online login id. Don’t be bewildered if you don’t have this if you don’t have a login id then you need to do only simple thing that is sign up or just register yourself as a new member. You will find the icon on the website.

Step-3- after this click “Apply for Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport” link.

Step-4- fill up the form and the mandatory parts.

Step-5- After that click the “Pay and Schedule Appointment” link on the “View Saved/Submitted Applications” screen to schedule to fix an appointment.

Now, Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments at all Passport Seva Kendras/Passport Offices.

Online Payment can be done using any one of the following modes, Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard and Visa) ,Internet Banking (State Bank of India (SBI) and Associate Banks Only), SBI Bank Challan.

Step-6- now, after having such long process you are about to reach at your destination; Click the “Print Application Receipt” link to print the application receipt containing Application Reference Number and the  (ARN)/Appointment Number.

Step-7-.After these many steps you will have to visit the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/Regional Passport Office (RPO) where appointment has been booked, along with original documents. Don’t take photocopy or any other false things with you.
