Hello friends, today I am going to write about syllabus for IB Recruitment exams.
I hope you have been checked my last post IB RECRUITMENT 2014 – APPLY ONLINE FOR 750 ASST CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE OFFICER GR-II/ EXECUTIVE POSTS for the vacancies details and eligibility criteria. They have already announced the deadlines for the last date of application submission you can check in my post.
After application submission everyone has almost same problem what will be exam pattern? What will be cutoff? What will be syllabus ? etc…
Now keep calm and read my post I am going to share you how to read and what to read.
First let us find what is the pattern of IB ACIO exam.
IB ACIO 2014 Exam Pattern:
Selection process for Assistant Central Intelligence Officers in Intelligence Bureau consists of a written exam followed by Interview.
The written exam consists of both objective type (Paper-I) & descriptive type questions (Paper-II).
The Objective type (multiple choice) question would be set from following test sections:
1.0 General awareness.
2.0 English language.
3.0 Test of reasoning.
4.0 Mathematical aptitude.
Descriptive type questions would be set for Test English language (Essay & Precis writing). Both objective & descriptive type examinations will be held in a single session for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Other than above, ACIO exam notification has not said anything about the number of questions in each area and also what would be the mark distribution.
IB ACIO 2014 Exam Syllabus:
IB ACIO Exam does not tests your academic knowledge and hence there is no specified syllabus for this exam. As you can find in Exam Pattern above, the exam is conducted to test your aptitude and hence you can find the standard of questions for these sections to be same as that of any other competitive exam, which requires same eligibility (i.e. graduation) – for example Bank Po Exams.
Strategy for IB ACIO exam?
Stop googling and start focusing and practicing on your base specially in the sections in which you are weak.
Once you have strong base your focus should be on time management and practice for the examination.
I searched alot on internet but didn’t find any useful sample paper mostly are fake.
I would advise you to go through the sample papers of Bank PO exams, as the test sections are identical – General awareness, English language, Test of reasoning and Mathematical aptitude.
Soon I am going to post about How to prepare for Banking exams. Stay tune!!!
